This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website. We keep this simple because the site itself collects very little: there are no user accounts, no online payments and no advertising trackers.

Enquiry form

When you fill in the booking enquiry form, it opens a draft email in your own email application, addressed to us; your name, email, chosen villa, dates, guest count and message are sent directly from your device to our inbox. We do not store this information on the website or in any database — we only see it once it arrives in our email, the same as if you had written to us directly.

Availability check

When you view a villa's availability, the site's server asks Airbnb and Booking.com for that villa's public calendar so we can show you which weeks are free. This request only includes the villa you are viewing, not any information about you personally.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores two small preferences directly in your browser, never sent to us: your light/dark theme choice, and your selected language. You can clear these at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Embedded maps

The Location and Contact pages embed a Google Map. Loading that map is subject to Google's own privacy policy and may set cookies or collect data according to Google's practices, which we do not control.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) as part of running the service. See Vercel's own privacy policy for details.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you (typically none, beyond an enquiry email you sent us), to correct it, or to have it deleted. Contact us at lapieve.toscana@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
